the United States from Venezuela in 2004, with nothing but some savings and my daughter. Not only did I speak very little English, but I did not understand the first thing about the financial systems. All I wanted was a brighter future for my family and for me.\u00a0<\/p><p>Despite holding an architecture degree and ten years in pharmaceutical sales, I found myself working as a driver, as a barista, and finally, in an architecture firm. In 2008, I was laid off along with millions of others in this country, nearly lost my home, and my future was now uncertain. I fell into my passion. I started studying for a health and life insurance license.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p><p>I realized, with the knowledge I was acquiring in this new venture, I could set myself up for success, and I could help others do the same. My purpose became guiding families into achieving their well-being and financial security. I realized I understood better than anyone how to speak to them, find out what they needed even if they didn&#8217;t know themselves. Whatever questions clients have, I will answer. I&#8217;ve felt the fear, the shame, the dread around uncertainty and debt.
